Calling the Divided (Axel, Sora and Roxas)

[Axel]

Axel was atop Memory Skyscrapper, being idle as usual. He had a stone in his hand with an engraved key that had some writing on it. It was unclear what the writing was but something to do with the Key image on the stone. Axel was throwing it up in the air again and again like you would a tennis ball. Suddenly he stopped and then walked a little further on top of the Skyscrapper.

"Right...Roxas is coming back, weather he likes it or not. I just hope he doesn't get mad."

Axel raised the stone and it began to glow a pale light. The stone rose into the air and then exploded with a pure brilliant light. The rays formed together and created two figures below on the ground level. It was none other than Sora and his Nobody Roxas standing next to one another.

"Hehe, I guess it worked after all. Hey, you two get up here."

[Roxas]

Roxas was suddenly pulled through a beam of light, back into the World that never was. In a frenzy, he looked around in confusion. He turned, and saw some kid next to him. Strangly enough, he looked a lot like him. Even stranger...Roxas knew his name.

...Sora?

Before he could say anything, he heard the familiar voice of a red headed nobody. He looked up to see Axel looking down at them from Memory's Skyscraper. What could he want? Roxas yelled back up to Axel.

"What do you want now Axel!?"

[Sora]

Suddenly, Sora was pulled through a portal by pure force. He wondered where it was taking him, and in a flash of light he appeared in The World That Never Was. "Wh-What's going on?" Sora asked himself frantically looking around. He noticed a boy about his age, who appeared to be the blonde version of himself, call out "What do you want now, Axel?!".

"AXEL?!"

Sora repeated. His eyes couldn't help but shoot up towards the Skyscraper, only to reveal the hot-headed Nobody. He was about to yell out to Axel himself, but then realized somthing... This blonde guy KNEW Axel. "Wait...! How do you know Axel?" Sora asked, turning his attention to the person next to him.

[Roxas]

Roxas didn't turn his view to this boy...Sora apparently. He didn't want to let Axel out of his view...he was a tricky one, and Roxas didn't plan on being ambushed again. Roxas let his keyblade appear in his hand, he didn't have too much control over it.

"An old friend..."

He said it a little sarcastically and waited for Axel to either come down, or answer from up there. He had a good feeling that he was the one who brought them here in the first place.

[Axel]

Axel snickered a little and then drew his own weapons. Raising his arms black disks appeared which set aflame then revealed glistening chakrams. He left them as usual, limply by his side. Then he took a few steps forward so he was standing on the edge of the Skyscraper.

"Why don't you two come up here, I'm sure you have some catching up to do hehe."

[Roxas]

Roxas was annoyed with Axel. He called back up angrily, "What's this all about?"

Without waiting for an answer, or Sora, he ran to the skyscraper. He jumped up the steps, and jumped. He wasn't sure if he could do what he was going to do, but it felt familiar. He landed on the side of the building and started to run up. In reality, he was terrified of falling, but the rush was so great that the fear sort of faded.

Reaching the top, Roxas kicked off the top and flipped over Axel, landing behind him. Axel's weapons were already out, so Roxas held his keyblade pointing at Axel, just in case he got attacked or something.

[Sora]

Sora watched as Roxas ran up the Skyscraper. He still seemed familiar, but Sora shoved the thought to the back of his head. The blonde rushed into things too quickly, Sora wanted to be more cautious; for he had fought Axel before. Was this the guy Axel was referring to? 'Someone very special to me'? But I've never even met him. And yet, I think I know him... He sighed then did as Roxas had done, ran up the side of the building.


Once reaching the top, Sora got into his regular fighting stance on the other side of Axel. Sora on left, the other kid (Roxas) on the right. Axel was cornered by the both of them. But Sora couldn't help but wonder, What does this guy want from Axel? Why does he want to fight him? Whatever the answer, Sora was prepared for battle.

[Axel]

"Now thats more like it. I take it you too haven't noticed yet but lets get things underway first. I need to test you both, don't ask I don't give the orders."

Axel's chakrams caught on fire and he released them into the air and they began to spin fast on a horizontal angle and small spheres of fire flew from the edge and floated above Axel. They all were being drawn to the very presence of Axel and once he stopped spinning his chakrams they began to swirl and increased their speed. They got incredibly fast and they all began to form a wall of fire around Axel and then absorbed into him as they smashed into the floor around him. Axel was then caught ablaze and his chakrams had gotten bigger again like they had with a previous fight with Sora.

"Now, that oughta even the odds out more huh Sora...Roxas."

(Lets keep a posting order like one of you two then the other and then me. I'm not bothered who posts first out of you two but once both of you have I will post, then we start again, got it?)

[Roxas]

((No problem))

Roxas was stunned by the sudden explosion of power. It was obvious that he wanted to fight again. He had done okay the first time, but he wasn't so sure now. But if this...Sora kid was on his side, maybe they'd have a chance. It was around then that Roxas noticed that Sora held the same keyblade as him. Confused, he decided on pulling out his Oathkeeper and Oblivion instead.

With a quick pull on both of his sides, he drew them.

"If you want another fight, you'd better be ready to lose!"

Without waiting for a response, Roxas jumped in and threw a quick flurry of attacks. He sent the oblivion up, and pulled the oathkeeper to the side across Axel's chest. He wasn't going to let Axel get the first hit.

[Sora]

"Roxas? So that's his name..." Sora repeated Axel.

He, too, noticed Roxas had the same Keyblade. Then, Roxas pulled out the Oathkeeper; which shocked Sora even more. But the keychain... That's the Papou Fruit I got from Riku. There's no other one exactly like it. Huh... Whatever! Axel wants a fight, and I want an answer. And I'm gonna get it...!

At the same time, Sora lunged himself at Axel, actually aiming instead of slashing randomly back and forth. He aimed for Axel's back, shoulder blades exactly, so that it would do some damage if it made impact.

[Axel]

Axel smirked a little and spun round incredibly fast causing wind and embers to fly up around him. He raised his arms and deflected both attacks at the same time. Then they both initiate slashes and thrusts and a flame figure shot out of Axel into the sky. Then the two were getting closer to one another with their attack and then both of each others Keyblades collided and Sora and Roxas both began to glow with a pale grey light.

Meanwhile the flame figure that shot out of Axel was the true Axel and he was in the air above them and he landed silently to the side of the frey. meanwhile his doppelganger burst into flames as soon as Sora and Roxas' keyblades hit one another. Axel had a wide grin on his face...

"Surely, you both get it now. Come on do I have to spell things out for you."

[Roxas]

Roxas looked closely at Sora as their keyblades collided. Looking into his eyes he saw a flash...then saw himself...then Sora again. Could it mean...? There was no other explanation as to why Axel would have brought them together.

"No way..."

Roxas said it quietly with his own eyes a little widened. He quickly turned back to Axel and regripped his keyblades. His expression of anger had become shocked. He was about to say something, but stuttered and looked back at Sora.

[Sora]

"No...! But, I never..." A flashback shot into Sora's mind, of when he released his heart along with all the others he had contained. He had become a Heartless for a short while, so that had meant... "You're my... Nobody. Roxas." He remembered. Sora stared into the eyes of Roxas, seeing a clear reflection of himself.

"Let's do this." He stated flatly. Before they could have any reunions, they had to get rid of Axel. Once more, Sora drew his Keyblade, and faced towards the flaming, midair Axel. "Give us your best shot." And again, Sora was ready for anything Axel had to dish out.

[Axel]

"Ah yes, Thank god, how many times do I have to hint at you guys. So Roxas, your Sora's Nobody, got it memorized? Sora, meet the other you...great isn't it, anyway. Lets get this get it under way."

Axel gripped his chakrams harder and then let them go as they began to rotate on there own. They spun round him and then flew out from left and right and flew a few yards away behind Roxas and Sora. Following them was a line of Fire which raised up several meters into the air creating a circle of fire around the three. Then the chakrams came back to his hands and the top of the Skyscraper was engulfed in. Axel then grabbed his enlarged chakrams and got into his usual battle stance holding the right chakram weird in a ring of metal.

"hmhmmhmhmmhmmhmmhmm" Axel hummed the tune of Relight my Fire (Not Will Young's version, he's Gay)

[Roxas]

Roxas was still stunned by the revalation, and even more so when the flames came up. It was one thing seeing your other, but it was a totally other thing when you find your other AND you have to fight. Roxas got into his battle position and turned his head quickly to Sora.

"Alright then Sora...let's see if you're a good other."

With that, he leaped at Axel and drove both his keyblades down as hard as he could. It was a fast attack, but definatly not unblockable. He planned to spin and take out Axel's legs if he blocked his attack.
