Naminé watched him, wondering what he had seen. She herself had seen nothing of any sort, but she hadn't been looking. "is something wrong? she asked, raising her eyebrows.

David stopped and looked at the tunnel that had a number three above it. It was green and he had never been in the tunnels. "Thought I saw something go into the tunnel." he stated, "A heartless or maybe a nobody. I don't really know myself. It's motions were too quick for me to really tell."

"If it moved quickly it was probably a Nobody," Naminé replied with a small smile. She watched to see if he would go in the tunnel. If he did, she would follow out of boredom. If he did not, she would wait to see what he did instead.

David looked around once again and then started to walk into the tunnel. He was rather bored and killing a few nobodies might serve as some entertainment. He pulled an blue glowing orb out of his pocket as he descended. His blue eyes scanned the area for the movement. It then came and there were more than one. There were only three Dusks and he simply smirked.

For lack of anything better to do, Naminé followed, staying well away from the Dusks and sighing. She had never been one to fight...and yet she always found herself surrounded by it.
"And, as it seems, they ARE Nobodies," she said with a laugh.

"Yeah, but they are nothing." David replied. He lifted up the orb and it transformed into a lance. They then came at him and with one smooth fluid motion he killed them all. He first thrusted his lance into the middle Dusk and then spun the weapon to hit the others. Enough force was applied and they disappeared.
"It's a bit too easy around here." David said after a sigh.

Naminé was a bit taken aback by David's first comment. It had been awhile since she lingered over that particular point. "Do you really believe that w–they're nothing?" she asked. Once upon a time she had believed that, too. But events had caused her thoughts to take a turn.
Now, she questioned that opinion.

"Are you referring to the Dusks or Nobodies in general?" David replied, "Because Dusks are the lowest of the ranking Nobodies and a Nobody is an individual without a heart. The shell that's left after a heartless is made. Thus they are empty vessels that seek out meaning. Truly, they will never be somebody, but the fact exists that they will never be the individual that they are made from."[/green] He turned and looked at Naminé. He saw the expression that was on her face. He could feel the concern that she had. It didn't bother him, but there was the thought that she was a Nobody.

Naminé begged to differ, but she merely nodded a bit slowly and looked in a different direction. A faint, "Oh"[/color escaped her. Her gaze traveled over the sunlight that entered the underground, a smile appearing on her features.

"Don't worry about it." David stated, "I'm not really interested in destroying Nobodies. Because for all I know, I might be one as well." He walked up near her and looked at the sunlight as well. He blinked and turned his gaze towards her. "Is there anything that you want to do?"

Nainé nodded at his words, then thought over his question. "I was just out walking around..." she replied. "I wasn't doing anything in particular."

"I see." David replied with a nod. He looked around for a bit and turned to look back at Naminé. "Would you mind if I walked with you back home?" he asked. He had nothing better to do and decided that this might be something better than nothing.

Naminé gave him a gaze that clearly stated she was thinking about the offer. A moment later, words trailed out of her mouth. "I'd rather not go 'home,'" she said with a small smile. "If you're hungry, we can go to the candy shop." She offer came with a larger smile and she pointed over to the Tram Commons exit.

David chuckled to himself quietly and nodded to himself. He lead the way out of the tunnel and into the alley. He slowly made his way towards the candy shop with Naminé behind him. Though he wasn't much for candy it was still a good thing to enjoy the little things of life.

Naminé followed, speeding up so as to catch up to David. When she was a bit behind and to the side of him, she slowed to his pace. "So, David, do you travel a lot?" she asked with a smile.
