"I travel quite a bit actually.", David replied looking around and then at Naminé. He was wondering what she was trying to get at but he didn't really know. It bothered hims somewhat that she didn't want to go to her home. This caused some unease with him as he tried to think about what she was thinking.

Naminé's smile weidened a bit and she nodded. The different worlds interested her. "So where have you been?" she asked, a hint of enthusiasm showing. "I've only been to a few places."

"I've been to many places." David replied cooly as they continued to walk to their destination. "I just can't go into detail about all of them as they are difficult to explain somewhat." He didn't feel like going into detail and counting off all of the worlds that existed and which ones he had been to.

Naminé nodded a bit. "That's interesting," she said with a small smile. She was at the candy shop's counter now. THe old lady behind it handed her two bars of sea-salt ice cream and Naminé gave her a few pieces of munny. "Here you go," Naminé said with a smile, holding out the extra ice cream for David. "Have you ever had it before? It's really yummy."

David nodded his head to her reply about the interesting thing. He then took the ice cream from her and gave it a lick. "I've only had it a few times." David replied to Naminé, "And that's because that old mage believed that it should be a treat that only certain individuals should get after accomplishing things."

"Yensid?" Naminé asked. She had met the old man once and he had scared her a bit with his silent ways. Then, she had visited the fairies, who had argued about what color would look best on her. She had been relieved to walk out of the place with her dress still white and not tye dyed. She began eating her ice cream.

"That old wizard didn't teach me anything." David replied immediately, "In fact, I only know him because the mage that raised me introduced me to him." He took a bite out of the ice cream that was given to him and looked around as he let it melt in his mouth and swallowed.

Naminé took a moment to think before nodding. "So...who raised you?" she asked timidly.

David looked down at her. The individuals that raised him were well known, but shrouded in mystery. In fact, they weren't the subject of conversations. He sighed as she probably wouldn't know. "I was raised by three individuals." David started, "One a weapons master, he taught me how to use any weapon and to find their secrets. The second was a powerful mage, that taught me how to use magic and how to use a single spell for many things. The third was a technicological genius, he taught me what there was to know about technology and advandancements. He was also the one that created my weapon."

Naminé listened, nodding and taking another bite of ice cream. "Wow," she said with a small laugh. "That's interesting. I've never been taught about any of that stuff." She smiled and shook her head.

"You think that's interesting?" David replied before he took another bite of his ice cream. He didn't really think of it as interesting, because he was taught it a vast majority of his life. He looked around as he walked and then glanced down at Naminé.

Naminé laughed and nodded, brushing a piece of blonde hair from her eyes. "Yes. It's more interesting than anything that's ever happened to me. My life is rather boring, I guess you could say," she replied, shrugging. "I haven't really been allowed to do much. Someone's always been there to tell me no."

David looked at Naminé when she spoke. He nodded his head and then turned to look forward. He took another bite of the ice cream. "So you stop doing something when someone tells you no?" he asked, "If you listen to what everyone has to say, then nothing will happen. You can't always listen to what people say you can or can't do."

Naminé blushed outu of embarassment, knowing that he was very right. "Yes, I figured that out...but it was a bit late. Now I'm trying to make up for lost time," she replied, seeing no use in actually explaining the sitation. "I'm not really the most outspoken person in the world."

"It's never too late." David replied to Naminé. He took the last bite of the ice cream and kept the stick in his mouth. "It's only too late when you say it's too late. It's only for you to decide not everyone else."
