The area before the palace was covered in people, one giant mesh. It was hard to tell one from another. The loud murmuring of unknown voices was heard over the area.
A figure with a long dark blue cloak and a hood over their head stood still as people passed. Pale blue hair streamed out one side of the hood. Their head was turned to face the ground, and their arms lay motionless againest the side of their body.
The crowd pushed towards them, a 'oof' sound was heard as the figures shoulder was pushed back by a civilian. The figure did not protest though. They stood still as their other shoulder was pushed back. The people didn't even aknowledge they had hit the person as they past by. But still, the figure did not protest.
The figure left their head continuing to face the ground. Silent and still. Not even a foot was moved when pushed. Balance was kept and stayed still in the same place.
But, the figure did not even know why they were here. What was the point of coming? There was no point...Maybe what brought them here was, the thought of being near tons of people once again. But even so...it did not help.

Naminé was a part of the crowd, her blonde hair strangelyl pulled up into a pony tail and her dress traded for sweatpants and a zip-up jacket. The reason for this rather drastic change of attire was the bitter cold–Naminé's first experience with ancient China had taught her to dress warmly. She bumped into a few people, sending her tripping into even more. One was standing still in the jostling crowd dressed in a blue cloakand looking down. She ran smack dab into their back and a faint 'ow' could be heard. "I'm very sorry! I didn't mean to run into you . . . it's just the crowd and the hurry and . . . " For some reason, she felt her apologies meant nothing.

Aiden heard nothing as she looked at the ground slightly. She had realized she had totally drifted from the crowd to her own mind. Her eyes were closed and her face had small streaks where a few tears had streamed. She finally had knowledge of someone running into her. She heard the faint apologies through the loud area. She pulled her head up a little and toke a few steps forward through the crowd towards the palace.
Aiden left her hood up and felt her hair rub againest her cheek. She wedged her way through the crowd slowly. She ignored the girl who had bumped into her completly.

Naminé watched, wondering if the girl was deaf. Or maybe she just didn't want to hear . . . and Naimné completely understood that. Sometimes it was nice to just cut yourself from the realm of the living and drift in your own world. She followed Aiden's figure as she walked towards the Palace and followed; after all, that's where Naminé had been heading, too. However, she did not strive for the girl's attention. She merely took the same path, remaining about six feet behind her.

Aiden continued forward until she came to the bottom step of the palace. She looked up towards the top, her hood dropping from her head. Her blurred eyes only showed only piece of what she saw. She felt the bow in her head being pulled back by the wind. It held more of her hair then usual.
Aiden looked back towards the door and toke another step up the stairs. She walked slower then usual up the stairs, with her silentself.

Naminé watched as Aiden drew her hood down, her gaze wavering upon her before she reached the steps and began to walk up them. Her pace was normal and her eyes took in the remarkable piece of architecture. She stopped at the doors, a thin hand hovering over a handle as she wondered if she should knock or not. . . [short]

(whatever)
Aiden looked at the doors at the top of the stairs. She ignored them and turned right, down the stone path. She looked behind her for a moment as Namine came up to the doors. She shook her head to herself and continued down, turning left around a corner, beyond the sight of the others. Aiden closed her eyes tight for a moment. The cross under her shirt glowed threw for a moment and large red and black wings appeared upon her back. They were slik and clean, and more mishapen.

Naminé's eyes followed Aiden, watching as she took an alternate path. SHe turned, forgetting about the door and took a few steps forward. Then, a faint glow appeared and a pair of wings followed. Naminé stepped back a bit, not sure what to do. "Are you okay?" she found herself asking.

Aiden peered over her wings at Namine. As Aiden was not one to talk right off, she stayed silent as she stared at her for a moment. She showed no expression, or feelings to her. She continued to stare, looking over the girl as she looked back at her. She felt the weight of her wings for a moment, and then clutched the cross below her shirt, grabbing the cloth as well. The light began to fad below her fingers grasp, as she slowly released it.

Naminé concluded that Aiden had not heard her. She stepped forward a bit more, hesitant. Her mouth opened, but nothing came out for a moment. Finally, her vocal chords began to work properly. "Are you okay? Do you need anything or...?" Naminé asked, trailing off due to the fact she had no idea what else to say. She wondered if this girl could even talk.

Aiden stared at her motionless fora moment, it was not that she couldn't talk, it was that she had no will too. She did not often, only on those rare occasions. Lately she had only had the will to speak to one indivual, which she regreted, she wished to keep the limit at one for the time being. She hoped Namine wouldn't convince her otherwise. She continued, not moving. (short)

Naminé looked at Aiden, confused as to why she didn't speak. Perhaps she didn't favor speaking . . . that would be a good explanation. She decided to practice her magic, pointing her hand at a leaf on the ground. She muttered Fira under her breath and watched as the hint of a flam traveled through the air. Her heart–or what should have been her heart–fell and she began thinking that learning to defend herself was hopeless. She then looked at Aiden. "Sorry to bug you . . . "

Aiden shook her head a little to Namine, in a way of saying 'you don't need t say that' almost. Aiden looked up at the pillars above. She pulled the croos below her shirt up on top now. She had turned from the grasp of looking at Namine now, as she still looked up. She looked over to the fireworks stand. She figured she had not point of going up on the roof, or anywhere else. Her wings disenigrated from her back, leaving it bare. She turned around to Namine, and began walking towards her.

Naminé wondered if she was going to kill her or something, though she doubted it. She did not back away or move towards her, but she did not look comfortable with the once-winged girl advancing towards her. She shifted her weight from foot to foot, looking to the ground.

Aiden ignored the looksover the girl, and howuncomfortable she looked, Aiden did not get that often. Most of the time people felt like they weremore powerful then Aiden, many times they were wrong. Aiden had one of her Suis' apear in her hand. She began to lift it up, but she couldn't. The sharp point glimmened in her eye. She held it still above Namine's head. Ready to plung it.
With a thrust of her wrist, Aiden's Suis fell to the ground about ten feet behind Namine. She tilted her head and fell to her knees.
