Roxas walked close next to Namine. When she asked about other worlds he had been too, he felt a little uncomfortable again. But as he thought before, he was going to answer her.
"Well...I don't know the name of it, but that Axel guy I was talking about earlier took me there. It was dark...and there was a big tower...and it was a little familiar--"
He stopped himself at that. She just wanted to know where he had gone, not how he FELT about every little thing there.
"---Well, that's the only other place I've been. What about you?"

Naminé laughed, wondering if 'What about you?' was Roxas's favorite question. She kept walking straight ahead, gaze unwavering from her path. "I've been to many places, though not as many as others," she replied. "Among them is the place you talk of." She gave no hint to the name of the place. "You find many things familiar. What do you find familiar about them?"

Namine was very curious about him. He wasn't used to getting this much attention, so his rebuttles were a little repetative. But he could easily go on about this topic...
"Well...there was this skyscraper...When I saw it, I just got all of these images...I saw Axel, black cloaks...keyblades. Some girl with red hair, and other things that went by too fast for me to comprehend. It was wierd..."
Roxas relished in his outward thinking, but his thought process suddenly changed.
"How far is the town anyway?"

Naminé nodded, blinking at the abrupt change of pace. She paused for a moment to collect her thoughts before answering. "Not much farther if we don't run into any heartless," she replied. "I doubt we will, but you never know." She made her way down natural stone steps, jumping down the last two with a smile. The smile was rather fake due to the fact she was intently mulling over Roxas's previous words. She turned around and stopped, waiting for Roxas.

Roxas followed but on one of the steps got caught by something and tripped. He felt flat on his chest and coughed loudly. Twisting around on the ground, he looked around frantically. He knew he didn't trip...something tripped him. Jumping to his feet he saw something especially odd. A white shape shifting thing floated out from a crack in the rocks. Roxas drew his keyblade instinctivly. He didn't think it was a heartless, but he had to ask.
"What is that thing? Is that a heartless?"
It didn't attack him however, instead, it simply floated there facing him.

Naminé took a calm step backwards, her eyes a bit frantic, but still cool and calm.
"That is a Nobody, Roxas," she replied. "They are similar to heartless, yet they are not heartless. However, both creature possess the same weakness: the keyblade."
She took another step back, her grip around her notebook tightening. She closed her eyes, sighing.

"A...nobody?" The second he said the word, images flashed through his head. Nobodies. Commanded by the Organization.
What!?
Roxas wasted no time in destroying the creature where it stood, hostile or no. He just wanted it away from him so he could think clearly. He just wanted it gone. With two slashes, it dissapeared. He turned to Namine sweating with confusion.
"Let's go..."
He waited for her to take lead again...he felt sick.

Naminé nodded, turning and walking forwards at a quicker pace. The end of the mountain road was in sight, but it would still be a ew minutes before they reached the town. She blinked a bit, slowing as she went down a rather steep hill.
"Are you okay?" she asked tentatively, sidestepping a large rut. "You don't look very...well."
The landscape around them slowly turned into grass.

Roxas was quivering a little, and he could feel it in his stomach. It was making it hurt. All of these flashes didn't make enough sense. What was the Organization? What did they have to do with nobodies? More importantly...what did they have to do with him?
Roxas stopped walking and looked at Namine.
"If you know who I am, tell me."
He had no idea where it came from, it just fell out of his mouth. He didn't even feel like himself when he said it.

Naminé kept walking, shaking her head.
"Not here," she said. "Wait until we get to the town. We will be safer there. Or, to reduce risk of interruption, we may talk in the cave beside the town. Your choice."
She stopped, the town's entrance a litttle ways away from her, and turned around. A cave entrance was to her right and she wore an expectant look.

"Alright. The cave then." He made his way up to Namine and then headed towards the cave. He stopped at the mouth waiting for her.
Somehow he dreaded whatever it was she was going to say, but he at the same time he longed to know. What if this whole time he thought he was someone he wasn't? Either way, he was who he was now, no matter what.

Naminé sighed, brushing past him and talking as she walked.
"You, Roxas, are a Nobody," she began slowly. "A being that does not possess a heart."
She frowned, not liking this definition, but using it anyways. She now entered the real part of the cave, which was covered in candles. Their flames flickered across her pale hair and skin, giving her an ethereal look. She waited for Roxas.

Roxas followed right behind Namine, a little stunned, and maybe even a little offended.
"No heart? But Namine..how could you say that?"
Of course he had a heart...or at least he thought he did. How could he not have one? She had to explain more...there's no way he was one of those things he had just defeated...no way!
Somehow, in the pit of his stomach, the deepest area of his heart, if he really had one, he felt it true.

"I say it because it is true," Naminé replied briskly, disliking even the thought of being called a liar. "You were born from the heart of a boy named Sora when it left his body. However, you do not possess any of his memories due to the fact you weren't given time to develop them." She sighed, shaking her head. "You were a part of Organization XIII, a group consisting of thirteen Nobodies such as yourself. The group's hearts were strong enough to leave their body and soul in their original body. The lesser Nobodies, such as the one you saw back on the path, are controlled by the thirteen superiors. If I remember correctly, you controlled the Samurai Nobodies duuring your stay with the Organization."
She prayed that Roxas wouldn't attempt to kill her.

Roxas was quiet. All of that WAS true. There was nothing he could say to make it otherwise either. He didn't hold anything against Namine either, she only told him the truth. What he wanted to hear. It didn't make it any easier, however.
"I see...Thank you, Namine."
Roxas sat down and took in a deep sigh.
Well, now what?
"I guess there's no going back to a casual conversation after something like that, huh?"
He smirked a little as he said it, at least he still felt the same. Whatever the past was, he was still himself. That couldn't change...if he didn't have a heart, then his memories would serve as one.
"How do you know all of this anyway?"
He didn't say it rudely, but purely out of curiousity.
