A girl with long pale purple hair walk through Dark City, towards Memory's Skyscraper. She had never been here before, to afraid of what wouldcome until now. But, if she wanted to complete her dream she needed to come. She held a book on the world in her hand. She looked over the area as she pushed the book againest her chest.
The pain that had happened here haunted her. Other memories haunted her. She could feel it. Being a wizard of feeling and magic, she could tell when one was down. She could tell now by the look of the air that much had happened here.
A battle toke place where she stood. Two feet away one seeking freedom stood. Another fought for others only feet away. And the sense of defeat was placed upon the ground.
She looked up at Memory's Skyscraper, to see the blank roof. She knew no one was up there, not now, she could not sense them. She looked around and noticed no one around at the moment, but the feelings haunted her like people.

Aria's senses were wrong, there was somone on the blank roof of the skyscraper. Though, it was arguable if it was a someone. Hansy lay there, hood up, robe zipped, on the roof like a bed. In such a sleep he was shrouded, in physical, by the robe, and otherwise, by his aura of darkness, which blended him perfectly to the world. He remained untouched, undisturbed, until a girl broke his sleep.
He felt her presence, and finally saw her body as he crouched up on the rooftop. On one knee, he looked down at her, wondering what she was doing in this place. It took him a moment to remember what he was doing there, he had simply rested there, as he did every so often. He could never seem to leave the skyscraper itself, or see more than a few buildings away from it, so it was frustrating to see somone at the bottom he likely couldn't reach.

Aria couldn't feel anything, no heart was near her. But, she knew she wouldn't be able to sense almost anything. There were mainly nobodies, why she was scared to come in the first place. She looked around and then back at the skyscraper. This time she saw the small figure of a boy sitting on the building.
She looked away and swueezed her grip on her book. She knew it wouldn't help, but it was all she could do to coop with it right now. Maybe she should have brought Damascus. But, she wanted to stand by herself for once.
Aria closed her eyes for a moment and gulped. She disapeared, transported, she appeared behind Hansy moments later. She toke a step forward, the sound of her shoe filling the silence.

Hansy didn't move as he saw the girl suddenly dissapear from sight. He sensed her as she appeared behind him. Though he simply continued to look at where she had been. As her step finaly broke the silence, Hansy turned his head slowly, looking up at her, and wondering how she had done it.
Teleportation, probably... he was slightly relieved, he never liked being limited to the skyscraper, so if he couldn't go down. This girls ability to poof up fit him rather well.

"Hi." she said quietly to the boy. She slowly began to walk towards him. She figured the best way here was to not act afraid. She walked up eside him, his head at her knees. And slowly sat beside him. She looked down at the ground and looked at how high they were. "You live here?" She said as she squeezed the book and then brought her knees to her. She looked down at the ground still.

"No." Hansy responded. Though, he suspected she was just making coversation. It was somewhat obvious that absolutely no one would be living on the roof of a giant building, if anything, he'd live inside one of them. Still, even if he didn't live there, he always considered it 'his place'. So having somone up next to him was somewhat bizzare.

Aria lowered her head a little from Hansy. "Sorry, I'm just...nervous." She said, but her dream was to go to every world, and see what they were like, not just read them in her books. She looked at Hansy's face for a moment. He seemed like he was one who had always been hurt. One that never saw happiness. She wished she could change that, but she knwe it would be nearly impossible to do anything here.

"It's fine..." Hansy said quietly. Before turning around again to gaze at the ground of the city. In truth, he was a bit nervous himself, but so far it had been a very quiet exchange, far too quiet for Hansy to make any notion of this. This girl didn't seem to be a threat, or if she was, at least not threatening, so Hansy wasn't worried. Perhaps just a little shy.

Aria looked at Hansy for a moment. Wondering what he was doing out here, a kid like him. Seeing anyone out her like this made her upset, for herself and them. She followed Hansy's gaze to the ground below. "Are you a quiet kind of guy?" She asked, just trying to her the boy talk, maybe even learn a little about him. And here she thought all she would come upon in this world was diasaster.

"I guess..." Hansy replied, again in a short, shattered response. He did guess, since he couldn't know. He had not met enough people to compare super-social people and jubilant little kids with somone so different as him. He only knew he was quiet in that he talked softly and rather unofted, fitting the definition of the word. The expression, and figurative use for it however, he had no idea.
He did have curiosity though, so if that had been the question the answer would have been a fine yes, however, it was now Hansy's turn for a question, and a rather vague one at that. Turning his head slightly so Aria could see a portrait of his silouette, blackened by the lights of the buildings. He merely asked "Why?"

Aria, a little shocked by Hansy's way of putting this, simply gave an answer as she knew not else what to do. "Well, you look like a pretty cool kid...." She said unsure if Hansy would take offense to this. Usually Aria would be all right up in a persons face, but in this world she was calm, and more aware of her surrondings.
Aria hoped Hansy would be satified with this answer, but most likely her wouldn't. She stared into him now, right into skin, but not into his face. she looked right at his chest, not moving her eyes.

"Uh, thanks...?" Hansy said, his voice a faint whisper. It was a compliment, he thought. She said he was cool, or did she mean he was cold? Well, at least that would mean she was being honest in her opinion, which was a good thing. But did that mean she hated him, or...Anyway...It was a bizzare answer, but at least she had a reason for asking the question, and that was all he wanted. He didn't bother saying anything else. He had only seen a few people in the times he'd rested upon the building. A couple were taken by the heartless, but most of them, just found out the world was nothing, and left. He assumed this girl would be the same.

Aria looked at Hansy still, shaking her head a little as she turned to look away from him. She looked at her fingers and began to twiddle them. Something was bugging her, but shedid not know whether or not to ask the boy it. She did not think he would take offense, but Aria was always nervous in a place like this.
"Are you a nobody?" She asked quietly to him.

"Maybe..." Hansy replied. He kenw it was hard for him to know if he was a nobody or not. For, while he didn't think he had a heart, he also didn't know what having a heart 'was'. His heart was never taken, so he only had what he was now. If that was a nobody, so be it, if not, then he would take whatever he was. It was frustrating, for so many people to ask him a question that he didn't know the answer to himself. "I don't really know..."

"Such a question, and you don't know the answer?" She asked softly, as it seemed strange for someone not to know the answer to such a simple question. It seemed easy, but no one truly knew what was within the heart they did or didn't carry, it was truly unknown. As many say, 'a heart's a heavy burden.' It is. But, how was it that Hansy came to not know the answer to such a question.
