Serenity sat upon the rock near the water and stared out blankly. She heard many stories about that place. About how it should not or should exsist. It depended on someone's opinion. She smiled faintly when she remembered the conversation Haku and she had before...
"Do you really think there's another world out there?" Serenity asked in a whisper. The wind blew her silver-blue hair out of her face, making her wince slightly. She turned her head to him, seeing the smile spread wide across his grogeous face.
"Well OFCOURSE there is Serenity. And I bet you there are other people like us thinking about this," Haku replied, loudly. He leaned back against one of the pillars that were supporting the building.
"Well...then do you think that beach thing actually exsists?" She asked, looking him in the eye. Ofcourse, that smile just seemed to grow and grow. He shrugged and relaxed his shoulders before talking. He leaned back even farther and looked up. "Who knows? Maybe we're the ones who don't exsist... Maybe this is all someone's dream. Just imagine what would happen if that person woke up..." He had a thoughtful look on his face.Serenity stared at him with a blank expression, then a simple smile. Serenity shook her head out of the day dream and looked around to see if any one was near. She had wished for comapny for quite the while. Oh how she missed his voice. All she had was memories now. Still, even in a memory it was good to see him.

Simplicty was always Dusk's one concern. If anything could be considered "simple" it was something he would easily do or see.
This beach, the one he lingered upon, appeared so simple. At an ease with the world and those beyond it. Oblivious to the the chaos it was sure to endure.
What was Dusk doing here? In this place that had the mere illusion of simplicity? One could not possibly guess, for he was leaning lazily against a rock, staring blankly at the sea before him. In his hand was a chain with a small charm about it and one could not see what was carved upon it's clear surface for Dusk had that buried beneath the sand. Dusk was, indeed, thoughtful. He was thinking of all the things that lingered on his mind. Such as regret, darkness, and Sarah. This place... was it made of darkness? Or covered in lies of light?
He shook his head, his jade eyes gazing about the area in a careless manner. Seeking something to explain his own questions. But nothing of interest came up. He didn't notice the girl that resided a few feet away. No, he was oblivious to her presence.

Serenity kept her eyes upon the dark ocean ahead of her. She stood out completely from her surroundings. If one did not knwo any better, they would call her an angel. She tilted her head and let a deep sigh escape her lips. " I promise.. "She mumbled to herself, letting her wings lift her from the rock and take her over the water. The necklace she had was given to her by Haku when they were only atleast seven years old. Her silver-blue hair blew in the ice-chilling wind. "I will see you again even if it kills me... " She did not notice Dusk quite yet, still thinking about her dearest one. Those words that escaped her lips were just merely repeated. Haku had screamed them out to her. She smiled as a something warm and wet fall from her eyes. Two tear drops and a warm smile. The drops fell into the water creating small ripples throughout it. Silver tears in a black ocean is what it was. "I love you too Haku," She said, not in a whisper or in a mumble but actually quite loudly. Yes, for once her voice could be heard clearly. " I love you too. " Such strong words for a quite one like Serenity.

Dusk now gazed at the girl who was uttering words. These words is what traced his eyes to her. At once he had the impression she was an angel. Though, as his gaze lingered upon her frail form, he noticed she was crying. Did angels cry? He decided she musn't be an angel, but a lone girl. With a pure heart perhaps?
With the thought on mind Dusk stood in one brisk moment and neared the crying girl. His eyes kind and he looked rather concerned.
"You okay?" He asked, going into her line of vision.
He then found comfort on a rock.

Serenity turned to look at the boy. She did not see him until just then and wondered how long he had been sitting there. She smiled sweetly and wiped her falling tears away. "Y-yes," She managed to reply. It was very hard to talk when you hold your tears in. When some one cannot hold in their tears it is because their tears are just too strong, not because they are weak. It was that way with Serenity and the tears still fell no matter how hard she tried. "I'll be fine." She felt her wings grow weak, which was not good but they were still strong enough to keep her up for a very long time. She really wished she had a cloth of some sort to dry her tears, possibly a hankerchief. She could tell that her eyes shimmered brightly everytime she turned her head. "M-may I sit down?" She asked, pointing to the open spot next to him. She needed to sit down to relax her wings for a bit. No, she wasn't okay and she never will be until she finds what she wants, more like what she needed. So many images of him played through her head. the strange and sad thing was these images were unclear, his face, she could not remember his face. Or his voice and yet everytime she thought she heard his voice in a dream, she would wake up, thinking he was there. He never was and hopefully her dreams weren't lies.
