Naminé smiled at his statement about memories, silently agreeing. She let out a sigh, making a mental note to make more memories. Good ones. She was then faced with a question taht made her turn her head too. She tilted her head to the right, considering her answer. "Of course we'll remember each other," she replied. She hadn't planned on forgetting any person she met, especially not someone who considered her a friend. "And even if we can't seem to remember the other, something within us will." She smiled reasurringly.

Roxas replied with a simple "Yeah." and nodded. He was happy she felt that way. He was happy he had come here. Maybe this time, he didn't go somewhere to fight someone. Maybe, just this once, he came here to rest. And to understand. A reprieve in his journey that seemed like it was heading nowhere.
The sun started to set and Roxas layed down all the way. He watched it fade away into darkness, and then watched the darkness fade away under his eyelids. He had fallen asleep, and for once, his dreams were steady, and his slumber was undisturbed.

Naminé watched him for a moment, then turned her gaze up to the stars. A half moon shone down on them and Naminé put her head on her paws. The lionesses had gone off somewhere to sleep and, for a moment, it seemed that the world only held the two of them. After a moment, she got up and stretched a bit. Then, she lay down, getting comfortable while trying not to wake Roxas and falling asleep herself, enjoying the company of another.

Roxas awoke rather slowly, and tried his best to fall back asleep. Unfortunatly for him, he was at the point where he couldn't physically sleep any longer. He got to his feet and looked at Namine, who looked like she was still sleeping. She'd be alright. Roxas walked down the rock and looked around. It was bright and the sky was more or less clear. He looked in and out of the caves and eventually came back to the top. Looking out again, he noticed something he hadn't seen before.
Very, very far away there was an oasis of some sort. It was just past a desert, but it looked amazing. Roxas was tempted to run there right that moment, but decided on waiting for Namine. He'd ask her if she wanted to go.

A bright light suddenly pierced through Naminé's dreams, jostling her awake. She stood up so quicklky that she nearly fell face foward. After stretching and yawning widely, she looked over to Roxas, who was looking off in the distance. She looked in the direction his gaze faced and saw what he was looking at–a lush oasis. She could take a guess at what he was thinking."Good morning," she said with a smile. "I'm guessing that's where we're going?" She smiled and turned, bounding ahead a bit before turning and looking at Roxas expectantly, tail moving from side to side. Playfulness sparked in her eyes.

Ooc: Eh... Mind if I join? In the skies, a lean and hungry looking bird soared above the Oasis. It had black feathers, but its wings were golden, and its tail feathers were long and rainbow colored with emerald-green and patterns designed like eyes were also imprinted. This particular bird was incredibly unusual... Of course, it wasn't of this world. Rather, it was once a magister by the name of Noir. As it soared in the air, its blood-red eyes glared down at the life-filled area, soon spotting a lion and a lioness who also appeared unusual. Noir, this bird, then dived down towards the Oasis and landed on Roxas' head. Noir coughed and asked, "You're not of this world, are you? Yet, I just can't help but feel something odd about you two... May I ask who you are? Oh dear... How rude... Before that, I shall speak of my identity. My name is Noir, and I too am not from this world." Even if he had introduced himself, Noir was still being a tad rude, for he was interrupting one's conversations. Plus, his talons were gripping on Roxas' head a tad tightly as well.

Roxas ran after Namine happily. He was about to say something, but he was interupted by the feeling of sharp talons on his head. He let out a yelp as a black and multicolored bird spoke to them. Roxas shook his head a little to get him off.
"Yeah...we're not from here either. Uh..."
He was hesitant to give his name, mainly because it was such a random outburst.
"My name's Roxas."
He'd let Namine introduce herself. He was a little dissapointed that someone had appeared, because he liked being with just Namine. But then again, company is always good. But still, something about the bird was odd.

Naminé jumped back, surprised by the bird's sudden entrance. She wondered why it hadn't just landed on the surface of the rock. She looked at it curiously, taking a few steps forward but staying a good distance away.
"I'm Naminé," she said uncomfortably. The bird was very talkative. . . but weren't all birds?

"Hmm..." sighed Noir with a bit of suspicion. "Is that so?" asked Noir as he took flight again. On his talons, droplets of blood were dripping onto the ground. He chuckled lightly as he flapped his wings in the air. Noir's eyes expressed pseudo-happiness as he asked, "Nobodies are rather popular nowadays, aren't they? Oh, how foolish we are to interfere with darkness," Noir then laughed while landing on a nearby tree, now paying no attention to Namine and Roxas. "They were too nice, however. That's unusual... Especially if those Nobodies were able to retain their original forms," said Noir. By this, one could really tell that he wasn't a person to be trusted with a life, let alone a child's allowance worth of munny.

Roxas watched the bird cautiously. Before he knew it, the bird was talking to himself? Wierd. He couldn't hear what he was saying but he turned and whispered to Namine.
"This bird looks a little crazy...let's just go."
Roxas rubbed his head with his paw and saw blood on it. He sighed, and started walking towards the direction of the oasis. He wasn't sure if the bird would follow them, but in anycase, he was ready to attack him if he pulled a stunt on one of them.

Naminé blinked, giving the bird a smile and hesitantly catching up with Roxas. She looked back over her shoulder and sighed. "We shouldn't just leave him," she said, her kind heart getting to her. "Yet of course, that looks like a bad gash . . . " She looked at his head, wincing.

Noir then turned around and gazed at Pride Rock from afar. He sighed with disappointment as he saw the once beautiful area that was now but a wasteland inhabited by lions, lionesses, and Heartless. "I heard of a beautiful world, but I see that was just old news. Perhaps old Mufasa retired," said Noir as he looked at the area. Behind him, a black mist spread and from it, an elephant-like figure appeared. It stood and had green, empty eyes. Its tusks were long and its skin had a peach color. "Ah... Albijwaz... So tell me... What happened in Pride Rock?" asked Noir as he turned to face the creature. Albijwaz, as he was called, then said, "Noir, your information was grossly inaccurate. This area is not but an empty wasteland only infested with terrible creatures beyond anything I've imagined. Did you know I had to do battle with two or three lions just because they wanted meat? Of course, I took care of the job easily, but nevertheless, what you have told me was inaccurate," "Calm down, Albijwaz," said Noir, "From what you have said, I believe that a king is not present. Our goal was to destroy that king, but it seems this sort of fate was far worse than anything we had up our sleeves." Albijwaz chuckled in his own way and said, "Now I never said that... These lions spoke of someone named 'Simba'. I hear that he was old Mufasa's son, meaning that he's the next king. What do you think of that?" Noir sighed and responded, "Leave it... This land is already destroyed, plus more. Here I read legends of a world filled with life and strife was nonexistent. This, of course, was a bold-faced lie when I actually saw the said world," "You're rather foolish, you know that? You're using legends as goals for most of our plans. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're growing senile... At your age, for god's sake!" Noir glared at Albijwaz bitterly. This creature was a part of Noir... Perhaps that's why he put up with it.

Roxas looked back quickly only to see some sort of elephant talking with the bird. Very strange. Whatever they were talking about it didn't concern. He looked back to Namine and smiled cynically.
"Let's race...ready? GO!"
He didn't wait for Namine to say yes or no, he just ran as fast as he could, looking back to see if she was following. He hoped she'd compete with him, he had a lot of energy and needed to use it SOMEHOW. As he was running, he didn't realized where he was going and crashed into what looked like a bunch of bones. To his dismay, they WERE bones. Roxas dug his way out of the bones and looked around. It was a desolate place, and he could hear laughted coming from a little ways behind him.

Naminé was a bit game, striding forward and keeping up for a good while. Then, Roxas was off and crashing into bones and she was crashing into him. Laughing came from a little ways away and Naminé realized her eyes were closed. She opened them to see a wall.
"Ow..." she muttered, getting up and shaking them off.

Roxas went to help up Namine, when he heard the laughter again, but closer this time. He was next to Namine by this point, and was looking all around again. Finally, his eye caught something. There were a couple dog-like animals watching them from the elephant skulls and laughing maniacally. Roxas had a bad feeling about them, so he looked to Namine.
"Maybe we should go back before something bad happens..."
He tried to sneak them away, but before he knew it, they were surrounded by the...dogs? No...hyenas. He backed a little back as they laughed louder, closing in slowly.
