Riku didn't plan on taking anything off, even though he appriciated her advice. He turned to her to answer he question.
"Yeah. And every one seems to hint at something that isn't written there."
He had read them, and looked them over as carefully as he could, yet he couldn't figure the hints out. They were obviously there, with so many unanswered questions. There had been mention of keyblade wielders either bringing peace, or causing great destruction. Just so many little hints...and they were biting at his curiousity hard.
"If I could just find something...anything that could make it all a little bit clearer..."
Once again, his statement was more to himself.

"Perhaps you're thinking and looking to hard," Naminé offered. "Or perhaps you aren't looking in the right places. Have you tried the castle located in the World that Never Was?" Naminé had been pointing that outu to people lately, yet she didn't know why. Also, she had no idea what would be located there. She wondered if anything was located there anymore.

Riku eyes widened a little. Why hadn't he thought of that? It was likely the best idea he had heard so far. He smiled brightly at Namine.
"Good idea. I'm not sure if I can get there though...the only way that I could figure out was the portal in the other Twilight Town...but that may not even exist anymore."
He started thinking of ways to get there, even though he figured Namine probably knew a way. He didn't want to look like he was relying on her for answers or anything. Even though he kind of was. Riku didn't really like the castle, but he was starting to get over those feelings. His curiosity was stronger than that.

Naminé frowned. "The last time I looked, it was there..." she mumbled. "If not, the only other way I can think of is creating a portal yourself..." She sounded a bit unsure, but she quickly got over this. Then, another question popped into her mind. "Are you looking for anything in particular? I mean, in the Reports..."

Riku was a little curious himself for what he was looking for. He had to think it over for a second.
"Well...I sort of assumed I'd know when I found out. But I'm sure it's about keyblades. "
He mulled over the idea of making a portal there. He could try, but he had trouble with that particular world for some reason. Mainly because it didn't even really exist. He turned his back to Namine and looked around the city some. He eyes caught the palace, and he examined it carefully.

Naminé followed Riku's gaze to the castle, sighing. "Really?" she asked. "Just about keyblades? What makes you think that?" Sure, she agreed that the keyblade was important, but it wasn't everthing. Or perhaps she was wrong...maybe it was everything.

"Well, maybe not all about keyblades. But a good portion of it. If you think about it, Ansem didn't really write much about them."
Riku was already tired of talking about it. The more he thought about it, the more aggrivated he got with it. He really had no idea what he was looking for, but the fact that he knew it was there is what drove him. After a moment of silently looking over the palace, he turned to Namine.
"And what about you? What brings you here?"

"Ah, but what about the past keyblade wielders," Naminé contributed before answering his question. She looked around, giving a small shrug and smiling. "I wanted to see if there was anything worth buying or seeing around here. So far, I've been begged to buy a lamp and have tripped over some very large rugs." A chuckle escaped her and she lookedat iku, not sure of how to continue the current conversation or begin a new one...

"A lamp huh? Why didn't you get it?" He smiled gently as he said it. He was kind of joking, but he figured a sovinier is a sovinier. He started to walk back to the market place...maybe there was something interesting in there. He had never really taken the time to ever look at anything. "Let's go take a look then? There's not much going the way you were going." Without waiting for an answer, he continued back through the alleyway. ((short, but Im super tired ))

((It's fine. It's not THAT short >_>))
Naminé followed after him, walking quickly until she was about a foot behind him. "Well, it was black...so..." she said, trailing off and leaving the end of her sentence open for interpretation. She looked over her shoulder so as to make sure no heartless were behind them and then sighed. "Plus, it was kind of ugly." She laughed a bit.

"Haha. Maybe sometimes it's good to judge a book by its cover? Wouldn't want to waste munny."
He laughed a little at her remark. She was very bright and reminded him of someone else. She reminded him of Kairi, and for some reason that didn't surprise him too much. He didn't know why, but he didn't really feel like he needed to. As he continued walking, he was in the market place. Sure enough, a man started speaking to him. Babbling something about a lamp.
Riku was used to ignoring people, so this guy wasn't much harder. It was only after he was a couple feet away, that something odd happened. He could...hear people in his head. Or a person at least.
Come Riku...we share darkness, you and I.
Riku stopped for a second and stared at the ground.
"Who's there...?" He said it quietly...but got no answer. It was wierd, but he shrugged it off reluctantly. He turned quickly to look at trinkets at a store next to him. He wanted to hide the fact that he was a little shaken up by it.

Naminé followed, her hands clasped behind her back and her eyes looking this way and that. And then, the midget storeowner was there again, offering the lamp to Riku. She watched as he ignored it and nearly ran into him when he stopped. He acted as though he had heard something, whirling about and asking something like "Who's there?"
Naminé blinked, stepping back. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"You need this lamp!" the shopkeeper was saying. Naminé turned to him, face set in a determined look.
"Sir, we do not want your lamp!" she said, her voice firm.

Riku looked through the trinkets, but soon was hearing the voices again. They came in a flurry of sounds too. He could hardly handle it. They continually told him about darkness and opening the lamp. Riku knew it was bad news...but before he could do anything about it, he blacked out.
While he was blacked out, he pushed the short owner over and took the lamp from him. To anyone who may have looked into Riku's eyes, they would see that they were a bright white grey. He held the lamp high over his head. With one swipe he rubbed it...that was when he came back to his senses.
Jumping at the sudden change of scenery, he dropped the lamp. He backed up a few paces, and watched the lamp as it jostled around.
"Ugh...what did I do this time?" He directed at Namine.

Naminé had backed away also, not really wanting to know what was going to happen. She opened her mouth, taking a moment before speaking. "You rubbed it," she said, jumping back more when the lamp emitted red smoke. It covered the area like a blanket, seeping between the stalls and coming up to about mid calf. Naminé looked around frantically, trying to discern what exactly was happening, her eyes widening. Finally, she decided to ask. "What's happening?!"

"I don't know...but whatever it is, I'm stopping it now!"
Riku drew his keyblade and smacked the lamp as hard as he could. In an instant recoil, he was blown back about fifty feet into a trading stand. It shattered into pieces and covered the majority of Riku's body. He could hardly move for a second, but budged enough to see what was coming out of the lamp.
The red smog slowly starting to form into a relativly large figure...He looked over to Namine, and she was a little too close to the happening. Riku forced himself up and ran to her.
