Naminé's first reaction to the situation was to close her eyes and act like it wasn't happening, but she did not allow herself to do that. Instead, she backed up even more, stopping and staring when Riku was knocked back. Then, she switched her direction of motion to head towards him.
And once again, she stopped–now, he was coming towards her. Times like these made Naminé really sick of the fact that she could in no way defend herself. She concluded that this must be changed as soon as possible.
"I-I'm fine," she said to Riku, watching as the red figure's features became more prominent as the fog around it cleared. It seemed very large and ominous and Naminé couldn't deny the fact that she was a tiny bit scared. "And I'd like to point out that that thing is rather big..."

"What are you worrying about? He's not that big!" Riku said, obviously sarcastic about it. As the smog formed it turned into some sort of person. He was red and his legs were more like one line of smoke emenating from the lamp. It was at this point that Riku recognized him...but he couldn't remember from where.
He held his keyblade tight and watched as the genie-like thing grew bigger and bigger. He didn't think it would be too hard to force him down back into the lamp...but he didn't really have a way of getting up there.
"Any ideas as to how we can get up there?" He asked Namine. She was always full of good ideas, Riku just hoped she hadn't run out now.

Naminé racked her brain for an answer, eyeing a suspicious looking carpet sitting ontop of a pile not to far away. She faintly remembered something about a flying carpet being located in Agrabah and saw no reason not to test this hypothesis. She walked quickly over to the pile, tugging the multicolored carpet's tassle. It sprang to life.
"This?" Naminé said with a smile, turning to Riku. She cast the genie a small glance before watching the carpet levitate a bit off the pile. She wodnered if she should ask it to help...
And, looking like a bit of an idiot, she did.
"Would you help us?" she asked nervously.

Riku walked closer to the carpet, but did it hastily. The genie was already wrecking havoc and it hadn't even been that long at all. When Namine asked for its help, it spun around them excitedly. Apparently it hadn't moved for a while. Without another word, it slipped under them both, and brought them straight up.
Riku was a little worried at the fact that Namine had no self defense. That would have to change...soon. But Riku had something in mind that she could at least use to make sure she didn't get hurt or anything. He put out his free hand and summoned his old sword the Soul Eater. His original one became his keyblade, but thanks to darkness, he had basically as many as he wanted.
"Take this for now. You may want to trash it after, it doesn't suit you well."
With that, the took the skies, ever closing in on the genie's top half.

A frail hand clapsed itself around the hilt of Soul Eater. Naminé was rather unsure of wether or not she'd help at all, but she'd give it a shot.
"Okay..." she said, the word unsure. She felt strange carrying a weapon, but knew that she would have to get over it–a not so new concept to her.

As the carpet ascended, Riku saw the face of the genie a little more clearly. It was still so familiar...but he just couldn't put his finger on it. He stood and got ready to jump off of the carpet when he was at a good level. He looked back to Namine.
"So much for trinket shopping."
With that, he leaped off the carpet at the genie and threw a couple of slashes at its head. He instantly reacted by throwing his hand at Riku, which was bigger than him. Riku kicked off one of the fingers and ran up to arm to continue his onslaught. His attacks were as damaging as he would hope. There had to be some sort of better way to do this.
How do you kill something immortal anyway!?

Naminé blinked, watching and realizing she knew nothing about anything about 'battle.' This was most definately NOT her strong point.
"Um...I really...don't...know what to do..." she said, mostly to herself. The carpet backed up when the genie's other hand came flying at it, keeping her out of whacking distance.
"Distract it?!" she offered.

Riku tried out her idea. He leaped to the other arm of the genie and threw his keyblade at his face. It smacked him, and the genie turned to attack Riku. Riku leaped out of the way and slashed the back of its head, causing it to bend down some. It was then that Riku saw the source of the genie...its lamp. He was a little stunned by the simplicity of it. While in the air, he boosted himself back onto the carpet. Kneeling a little, he spoke to Namine.
"Can you get down there and break that lamp or something?"
He didn't explain why, but he figured she'd understand. With a nod, he leaped back to the genie to keep it distracted for a longer time.

The carpet shot downwards, not giving Naminé much of a choice. For a moment, she was suspended in air. Then gravity took over and she landed on the carpet, sending it plunging down at a quicker rate. It stopped at the lamp, and Naminé looked from it to the Soul Eater with a bewildered sigh.
"I'm going to look like a complete idiot," she said before taking a hack at it. It rattled ominously before it was hit by another.
[*tries to imagine Naminé fighting* *can't*]

((haha, sorrrryyyy :\))
Riku kept the genie's attention on himself. He didn't want it to see Namine, and likely crush her like a bug. He kept it occupied with flurries of slashes and shots of darkness. It was strenuous considering that the genie didn't seem to effected by anything. As long as she took out that lamp in anyway she felt neccesary, then it would hopefully be okay.
Before Riku knew it, he was swatted out of the way, into the ground. He slid someways through the ground and dropped his keyblade, which quickly dissapeared. Riku was possibly down for the count.

[no, it's fine, i was just saying. you try and imagine it, it's really quite funny....like imagining cloud sitting down and doing crafts....*laughed for five mintues at that one*]
I'm going to die. . . Naminé found herself thinking, sending another slash into the lamp. It rattled again and Jafar (the name popped into her head) seemed to shrink into it a little. After another whack, he shrunk again. Or not... And then a giant red fist was heading towards her, causing a tiny cry of surprise to escape her lungs as she scampered out of the way. She then proceede dto trip and fall on her derriere, but was up again in a moment.
"I hope he's okay..." she mumbled, quickly dusting off her bum and taking a last hack at the lamp. It gave a final shudder and Jafar became regular sized which really didn't help due to the fact he still looked scary to someone who had never fought before.
AKA Naminé.

Riku couldn't move, but he could see that the genie was regular size. Namine had made enough progress on it that he could maybe use what little strength he had left to finish him off. Slowly and painfully, he got up to his knees. He had felt this pain before. Riku didn't bother bringing out his keyblade, but instead concentrated darkness into his hands. The cuffed them in a circular shape, and smashed it into the ground.
The darkness overtook him, and soon over the genie who was stunned by the sudden attack. In the darkness, Riku threw all of his power into attacks of darkness and so on. When it was done, the very lamp the genie resided in had shattered. Coming back out of the darkness, Riku's body layed semi-limp. The lamp lay shattered and the genie gone.

And Naminé stared, not sure wether to be scared out of her mind or in awe. She chose both, scampering back once more but staying upright until she backed into a stall. And then it was gone. The only indicator to the genie's existance was a thin layer of red smoke in the surrounding area. But Naminé was too busy hovering over Riku and wondering what the hell to do to notice. After a moment, she leaned down next to the silver haired teen and shook him gently.
"Riku. . .are you okay?" she asked carefully.

Riku stirred a little bit. His eyes were closed loosely, he could barely must that much energy. When Namine asked his how he was, he made a short soft grunting noise. Trying to regain his voice, he managed to string out a short sentence.
"I'm tired......"
It sounded like there was going to be more, but it just didn't come out. It was soon after that when he just sort of fell asleep. His drain of strength was always pretty easily healed with sleep. Whether Namine knew that or not was a mystery to him, and would have to wait until he woke up.

Naminé nodded, blinking and watching him fall asleep. After a moment, she let out a sigh and stood up, dusting off her dress once more. Soul Eater lay forgotten a little ways away, uneeded by Naminé. The blonde looked around the marketplace and let out a breath.
"I guess getting food wouldn't hurt..." she mumbled to herself, walking towards a food vendor. She found herself rubbing her right forearm–it was beginning to feel a bit sore from the sudden upgrading of exercise. Drawing and fighting were definately not the same.
When she reached the vendor, she asked for two sandwiches (she didn't know what anything else was) and two waters, paid, and headed back to Riku. After reaching him, she sat down her purchases and began eating a bit.
